Neurological Testing and Neurodynamics

Outline:

We will focus on understanding and assessing the upper and lower peripheral nervous system to enable you to decide when to treat safely and when to refer.

This will include theory and practical sessions involving clinical tests for dermatomes and myotomes - tone, power, reflexes, sensation, vibration, proprioception.

We will also practice Neurodynamic tests of the upper and lower limbs - tensioners and sliders.

Central nervous system and cranial nerve testing will also be covered.

Each delegate will receive a patella hammer and neurotips/medipins.

This is an intense course completed in a one day workshop that will enable you to understand, assess and treat the nervous system - an essential part of safe and successful patient treatment and management.
